Mr. Jegan Vengada has 18 years of experience in the commercial and retail banking industry. He started his banking career in 2001 with Sandy Spring Bank (SASR) in Maryland. He recently served as a Vice President at Oritani Bank (ORI) in Northern New Jersey responsible for the growth of Consumer and Small Business businesses in the Bergen, Hudson, Essex and Passaic counties.

 

Prior to that he was a Vice President of Bank of America (BAC) serving the Washington DC market where he manged a book of 67MM. Prior to that he built and managed a critical de-novo location with First National Bank (FNB) as an AVP managing over 127MM. His unique experience as business banker in major metro cities and business development skills meant delivering excellent results - recognizing him as the #1 banker in Maryland for three years in a row.

In particular, Mr. Vengada has strong capabilities in managing variety of complex commercial loan structures. He has the knowledge and experience to help clients navigate the range of complicated issues that can accompany both CRE and C&I closings.

Mr.Vengada earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Limoges, France, as well as his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He holds his Business Law and Business Credit certification from the Maryland Bankers Association. Having lived and or worked in DC, VA, MD, NJ and NY he has developed trusting relationships, knowledge of the local and surrounding market and its development. He is an active volunteer at the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City as well as Farm Animal Rescue of MD.
