Mr. Jegan Vengada is a seasoned banking professional with over 18 years of proven success in commercial and retail banking, recognized for driving growth, building market presence, and delivering results in highly competitive metropolitan markets.

He launched his career in 2001 with Sandy Spring Bank (SASR) in Maryland and most recently served as Vice President at Oritani Bank (ORI) in Northern New Jersey, leading Consumer and Small Business expansion across Bergen, Hudson, Essex, and Passaic counties.

Earlier in his career, as Vice President at Bank of America (BAC) in Washington, D.C., Mr. Vengada managed a $67 million portfolio, providing tailored solutions to meet diverse client needs. Before that, he successfully built and led a de novo branch for First National Bank (FNB) as AVP, growing deposits to over $127 million. His ability to generate results earned him recognition as Maryland’s #1 Banker for three consecutive years.

Mr. Vengada’s expertise spans a broad spectrum of complex commercial loan structures, with deep knowledge of CRE and C&I financing. His skill in navigating intricate deal structures ensures clients receive strategic guidance from initial structuring through closing—removing roadblocks and securing the most favorable outcomes.

He holds dual bachelor’s degrees—from the University of Limoges, France, and the University of Maryland—along with Business Law and Business Credit certifications from the Maryland Bankers Association. Having lived and worked across DC, VA, MD, NJ, and NY, he brings an unmatched combination of market insight, regional relationships, and business development acumen.

Passionate about giving back, he volunteers with the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City and Farm Animal Rescue of Maryland.
